Holistic Therapies
Welcome to Yantra holistic therapies.
Yanta is derived from Sanskrit, meaning 'support.' During challenging times, feelings of being stuck, or experiencing emotional pain, we can benefit from the support of others to help navigate through our difficulties.
Yantra's philosophy is rooted in Buddist four noble truths of life.
-
Dukkha: the truth of suffering. This includes physical and emotional pain.
-
Samudaya: The truth of the cause of suffering. Discovering the cause of the suffering?
-
Nirodha: The truth of the end of suffering. Liberation and detaching from the suffering.
-
Magga: The truth of the path to the end of suffering. Achieving through spiritual practice, wisdom and ethical living.
I will support you on your path. witnessing your journey and all your truths.

Approach
I believe in addressing the needs of the whole person. My holistic approach integrates various modalities and methodologies such as pluralistic counselling, somatic therapy, meditation, divine fememine energy healing and the law of attraction.
Often when we experience trauma, our bodies get stuck in flight, fright or freeze mode it will react in a way that it feels it needs to protect. Often that shield of protection stays stuck in the body and it causes distress in the body. Distress can look like anxiety, shallow breathing, anger, weight gain, weight loss, nausea, stomach pain, confrontational, numbness, detached, restless legs, feeling trapped, tense muscles, trembling, etc…
Three foundational components of my approach include:
-
Building a relationship grounded in compassionate care, authentic communication, and strong acceptance
-
Gaining an understanding of your uniqueness and identifying optimal support strategies
-
Build and cultivate a sense of resilience that engages your capacity and strength.
